Olivia d'Abo Tapped for B'way's Upcoming Odd Couple
Olivia d'Abo will play Gwendolyn Pigeon in the upcoming Broadway mounting of Neil Simon's The Odd Couple, a representative for the actress confirmed to Broadway.com. She joins previously reported stars Nathan Lane, Matthew Broderick and Brad Garrett.
D'Abo is best known for playing Karen Arnold, the hippie older sister of Fred Savage's Kevin Arnold, in The Wonder Years. Her film credits include Conan the Destroyer, Into the Fire, Point of No Return, Wayne's World 2, Greedy, Clean Slate, Kicking and Screaming, Hacks, The Velocity of Gary and It Had to Be You.
D'Abo's character in The Odd Couple is one-half of the Pigeon sisters, who meet Oscar Madison Lane while they are all stuck in an elevator together. The sassy sisters live in an apartment right above from Oscar and Felix Broderick.
